Astro Pediatric Dentistry was born from a simple idea: that a dental practice can feel warm, calm, and even fun — especially for the youngest patients. Dr. Minsuk Cha, a board-certified pediatric dentist, and Dr. Samantha You, a general dentist with a lifelong passion for working with adolescents and teens, joined their strengths to create a practice that grows with every family it serves.

Together, they bring a full spectrum of pediatric care under one roof — from infant frenectomies and first-tooth visits to complex restorative care and treatment for teens. Families in Fairfield don't have to look elsewhere as their children grow. Astro is designed to be their long-term dental home.

General Dentist

Dr. You holds a degree from Touro College of Dental Medicine and completed her General Practice Residency at New York Medical College. She focuses on older pediatric patients — tweens, teens, and young adults — and brings 15 years of experience working with adolescents both in and out of the dental chair.

Trained at Touro College of Dental Medicine and Stony Brook Hospital, Dr. Cha completed a pediatric dentistry residency and earned his board certification. We use a tell–show–do approach to walk children through every step, combined with distraction techniques and gentle, virtually painless injection methods — including intraosseous anesthesia technology for maximum comfort.
